With summer almost here “Shade and Water” is the theme for Bearden watercolors installed at SIP Mendocino in Hopland.
I just installed a small group of paintings on the theme of “Outdoor California” at Sip Mendocino wine shop in Hopland, CA. Sip is a local gem with an extensive curated collection of Mendocino County wines. I invite you to stop by and see my artwork and sample the wine offerings. Hopland Passport is this weekend, Sat. & Sun., Oct. 22nd and 23rd so join the fun.
Bearden - Rock at Rattlesnake Creek
Success at the Mendocino County Fair and Apple Show! My work was recognized with a First Place in Professional Marine Watercolor and Best of Division (professional watercolor division) and was runner up for Best of Show. The painting that garnered the most attention was “Arch Rock on the Mendocino Coast”; “Ravens at Canyon de Chelly” was awarded Second Place; and “Madrone and Manzanitas” won Honorable Mention.
Great hike with family on a loop in the Lakes Basin and great food at Gold Lakes Lodge at the end of the day!
